What does it mean to be the Leader? When horses are in their natural state there is one leader which sets the boundaries for the rest of the herd. It decides where and when to go and how far or close the other horses can stray from the group.

How does this pertain to you and your Horse? When you are the Leader, you decide where your horse goes, how it gets there and at what speed. If you say it is safe to stand in a certain spot, your horse will stand there. When you walk, your horse walks, when you stop, it stops. Being a Leader means being in control and being in control is better for you and your horse.
